Drishyam 2
The trailer for Ajay Devgn-and-Tabu-starrer Drishyam 2, a follow-up to the 2015 crime thriller Dhrishyam, is out. The film follows the story of Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay) and his family.
In the two-minute-24-second-long trailer, we see a new investigator, played by Akshaye Khanna, has taken over the case after seven years and Vijay and his family are in danger again. At the end of the trailer, Vijay could be seen recording his confession. Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the film also stars Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor and Shriya Saran.
Drishyam 2 is all set to release in theatres on November 18.
Bhediya
Varun Dhawan on Monday shared a new poster of his upcoming film Bhediya. Also starring Kriti Sanon, the horror-comedy is directed by Stree helmer Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan.
The film is said to be an Indian take on the myth of the werewolf. It also features Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee in prominent roles.
The trailer of Bhediya will be released on October 19.
Kaapa
The teaser of Malayalam superstar Prithiviraj Sukumaran’s gangster drama Kaapa has been released by its makers. Directed by Shaji Kailas, the film also stars Aparna Balamurali, Asif Ali and Anna Ben.
The short teaser shows the underworld of Thiruvananthapuram and its laws as we are introduced to the dons and their henchmen. At the halfway point in the teaser, we also see Sukumaran beating up goons as he vows to retain his empire.
Head Bush
Anand Audio has dropped the trailer of its upcoming Kannada-language period action crime thriller film Head Bush. Directed by Shoonya, the film stars Daali Dhananjaya and Payal Rajput in the lead roles. The film is based on Afni Sreedhar’s autobiography My Days in the Underworld.
The two-minute-44-second trailer shows us the criminal underbelly of India’s tech-capital Bangalore. In the trailer, we see the violent nature of Dhananjaya’s character as he vows to rule the city. We also see politicians scheming to make money illegally. The trailer gives us a glimpse of fight sequences.
Head Bush will hit the theatres on October 21.
