Sanjay Dutt’s Big Bull transfers his memories to Ram Pothineni’s Ustaad Smart Shankar with the use of technology, prompting a series of events riddled with confusion and chaos in the adrenaline-pumping trailer of Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming sci-fi action thriller Double ISMART, dropped on Sunday.

The two-minute and 42-second trailer opens with Ustaad Smart Shankar declaring his dominance. Shankar, an assassin with a USB port implanted in his brain, is identified by Sanjay Dutt’s character, Big Bull, as their target for an important mission.

The trailer showcases Shankar’s intense action sequences and gravity-defying stunts. Actress Kavya Thapar appears as his love interest, and they groove together to the peppy beats of a foot-tapping number. The video also offers glimpses of VJ-turned-actress Bani J.

Big Bull’s quest for immortality leads to an experiment where Shankar’s brain is used to transfer his memories. The trailer also features gunfights and dramatic chase sequences.

The video concludes with a fist fight between Shankar and Big Bull.

Produced by Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, Double ISMART is slated to hit theatres worldwide on August 15.

Sharing a poster of the film on his Instagram, Sanjay wrote, “Double Mass Double Energy and Double Entertainment. The much awaited #DoubleiSmartTrailer Out Now. Feel & Scream with the Infectious #DoubleiSmart Energy in Theaters from August 15th.”

Work wise, the 65-year-old actor has Prem’s KD - The Devil, Tarun Mansukhani’s Housefull 5 and Binnoy K Gandhi’s Ghudchadi in the pipeline.

Additionally, Sanjay has teamed up with Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal for a new film helmed by Aditya Dhar.

The actor will also collaborate with Salman Khan on musician AP Dhillon’s new project titled Old Money.
