Apple recently gave the world a very exciting week of announcements and it included the new M4 MacBook Pro lineup. The new lineup is about heavylifting. What does that mean? The company’s new two-minute film – titled ‘No Sweat’ – offers an answer.

Coming from TBWAMedia Arts Lab and Megaforce, the film shows a weightlifter preparing for his moment to shine. Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir narrates the backstory: “The pressure of a lifetime of work comes down to a mere whisper of time in front of the world.”

As he lifts weights, Des’ree’s You Gotta Be plays in the background. This is where the story takes a turn and puts a smile on the viewer’s face. The athlete spins massive weights as if they were batons, there is backflip and then a spin… everything leaves the audience wanting more.

All of this happens while the viewer is reminded of the effortless power of the M4 family of chips. The weightlifter mirrors the M4 chip — relatively small and capable of handling challenging workloads with no difficulty.

The weightlifter played by stunt double Steven Shelby was coached by six-time world champion baton twirler Yvonne (Bonnie) Palacios and worked closely with Hollywood choreographer Denna Thomsen.
