A documentary on Oscar-winning singer Celine Dion, titled I Am: Celine Dion, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 25, she announced on social media alongside a behind-the-scenes photo of herself on Tuesday.
“Directed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, I AM: CELINE DION gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness. Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit,” read the caption of her post.
The Canadian singer sports an off-white sweater in the picture with her hair pulled back. She appears to be in high spirits.
The documentary is premiering almost two years after Dion was diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disease that causes muscle spasms. The singer announced about her disease through a video shared by her team on Instagram on December 8, 2022.
Dion gained worldwide recognition as a singer with her Oscar-winning song My Heart Will Go On from Titanic, which released in 1997.
