Actress-producer Kriti Sanon enjoyed jalebis and the serene weather amidst the mountains during outdoor shoots for her latest crime thriller Do Patti, show behind-the-scenes photos she shared on Tuesday.

“Some BTS. Thank you audience for all the love. It’s because of you guys that Do Patti is trending at #1 in India & in top 10 of global charts for consecutively second week. Both Saumya and Shailee are elated,” wrote Kriti, sharing the photos and videos on Instagram.

The carousel also features the film’s director, Shashanka Chaturvedi, and Kriti’s co-star Shaheer Sheikh. Kriti, who plays a double role in the film, appears in the pictures as the meek, homely Saumya and the wild, rebellious Shailee.

In several photos, Kriti appears bruised, with blood on her cheek and forehead, reflecting the film's plot centered on Varun’s (played by Shaheer) abusive relationship with his wife, Saumya. Kriti has also shared pictures with other crew members of the film.

Do Patti, which is currently trending at No. 1 on Netflix’s list of top 10 movies in India, also stars Kajol as a lawyer-cop. Set in the majestic hills of North India, the film opens with a paragliding mishap, where Saumya accuses her husband Dhruv Sood of attempted murder. Kajol’s Vidya Jyoti leads the investigation. Dhruv, a wealthy businessman with a powerful father, woos both sisters but marries the submissive Saumya to improve his public image. Bored with her mild demeanor and mental health struggles, he becomes violent and starts an affair with Shailee, leaving Saumya battered.

Do Patti marks Kriti’s first stint as a producer alongside Kanika Dhillon, the film’s writer. It is also the first time Kajol is playing a cop. The film is backed by Kriti’s production banner, Blue Butterfly Films, which she launched in July 2023. Furthermore, it is Kriti’s second collaboration with Kajol after Rohit Shetty’s 2015 romantic action comedy Dilwale. The thriller also stars Tanvi Azmi, Brijendra Kala, Vidushi Manaduli and Danish Kalra in key roles.
