Actress Disha Patani has emerged as IMDb’s most popular Indian celebrity of the week, dropping Munjya star Sharvari Wagh to the second position on the list that also features Salaar actor Prithviraj Sukumaran and Chandu Champion star Kartik Aaryan.

The list released by IMDb on Tuesday features Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin and Kennedy director Anurag Kashyap in 13th and 32nd positions, respectively. While Prithviraj occupies the 22nd position, Kartik holds the 38th position on the list.

Additionally, Sharvari’s Munjya co-star Abhay Verma and the horror comedy director Aditya Sarpotdar have made it to the top 50 list this week, at 42nd and 46th positions, respectively.

Debutant Lakshya, set to headline the Karan Johar-backed action-thriller Kill, occupied the 48th position on the list.

Maharaja actor Vijay Sethupathi appeared at the 50th position on the list this week.

According to IMDb, the list is prepared on the basis of pageviews of more than 200 million fans from around the globe. Every week, fans can see who is trending.

On the work front, Disha Patani is all set to play Roxie in the Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD. Released by production house Vyjayanthi Movies on May 10, the trailer of Kalki 2898 AD revealed that Disha will be part of many fierce action sequences in the film.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the upcoming dystopian sci-fi epic will arrive in cinemas on June 27. Kalki 2898 AD also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Saswata Chatterjee and Kamal Haasan.

Disha is set to make her Tamil cinema debut with Siva’s Kanguva, also featuring Suriya, Bobby Deol, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu and Yogi Babu. Kanguva is scheduled to release theatrically later this year.
