Colombian singer Camilo has collaborated with Punjabi actor-musician Diljit Dosanjh for his new song Palpita for the second season of Coca-Cola's global music campaign Coke Studio.
The funky track, which features Camilo singing in Spanish and Dosanjh in Punjabi, was released on Thursday.

The Colombian singer, known for hit tracks such as Tutu, Vida de Rico, and Índigo, took to instagram to express his fascination for Indian culture and traditions. “Working with Diljit in the studio was a valuable learning experience, because I had the chance to truly see and feel his huge heart and the richness of his melodies. This song makes me very proud, not just because for what it means in my career but for what we are building between his country and mine, ” he wrote.
In a separate Instagram post, the Colombian singer elaborated about the new song. “Two continents beating at the rhythm of this song. When Diljit started singing in the microphone in front of me, I was in shock!! WOW! Best experience ever!!! Hope to see u soon in India Thanks @cocacola for helping make this collaboration happen.”
Diljit was last seen in the Punjabi-language comedy film Jodi and is awaiting the release of Imtiaz Ali’s musical biographical film on the late Punjabi singer-songwriter Amar Singh Chamkila. The singer-turned-actor has also teased his upcoming album Hello Ghost, which will be out in September in a recent Instagram post.
