A Hindi remake of popular Bengali daily soap Anurager Chhowa is set to air on Star Plus from July 15, the makers of the original Star Jalsa show said in a statement.

Titled Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, the daily soap will air at 7pm on weekdays, production banner SVF said in a statement on X.

“We are on a national platform yet again! Announcing #DilKoTumsePyaarHua, our new Hindi serial! Watch it on @StarPlus from 15th July at 7:00pm,” SVF’s post of X, shared alongside a trailer, read.

The trailer of Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua revolves around Deepika (Aditi Tripathi), a dark-skinned girl who is ill-treated by her stepmother and half sister. Chirag (Akshit Sukhija), a young doctor from an affluent family falls in love with her. While Chirag’s parents want him to get married to Deepika’s sister, he is adamant on marrying Deepika.

A Hindi-dubbed version of the show starring Dibyojyoti Dutta and Swastika Ghosh, titled Chookar Mere Maan Ko, had aired on Star Plus last year in September 2023.

Anurager Chhowa is not the only Bengali serial to be remade in Hindi. TRP-topper Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly is a remake of Indrani Halder-starrer Sreemoyee. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein was a remake of Kusum Dola starring Madhumita Sircar, Aparajita Ghosh Das and Rishi Kaushik. Another show starring Rishi Kaushik, Ishti Kutum, was remade into Imlie for Star Plus.
