Actors Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Esha Deol on Monday shared heartfelt notes and photos to mark veteran actor Dharmendra’s 89th birthday.
“A day to celebrate! Happiest Birthday to the man of my dreams❤️ I hold your heart as you hold mine ever since we first met many years ago. We have been through good times and bad, always together, steadfast in our love for each other. I look forward to being dazzled by your charm for many more years to come. May God bless you with good health and happiness always,” actress Hema Malini wrote on her Instagram alongside a set of pictures featuring the couple.
Dharmendra and Hema Malini, who first shared the screen in the film Tum Haseen Main Jawaan (1970), tied the knot in 1980. The couple welcomed their first daughter Esha Deol in 1981 and their second daughter Ahana Deol in 1985.
Dharmendra was recently seen in the romance-comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
Dharmendra’s eldest son, actor Sunny Deol, wished his father a happy birthday with a video offering glimpses of moments they shared over the years. “Happy Birthday, Papa ❤️❤️🤗🤗I love you the most,” Sunny Deol wrote alongside the video.
Deol recently dropped the official teaser of his upcoming film Jaat, also starring Randeep Hooda. The actor is also gearing up for his upcoming films Lahore 1947 and Gadar 3.
Actor Bobby Deol also wished his father. The actor shared pictures of him planting a kiss on Dharmendra’s forehead. He wrote, “Papa love you the most, happy birthday.”
Bobby Deol was last seen in the Tamil epic-fantasy film Kanguva, starring Suriya in dual roles, alongside Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, K. S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Ravi Raghavendra and Karunas. The film is currently streaming on Prime Video.
Esha Deol wished his father by sharing a video where the actress was seen admiring posters of Dharmendra from his past films. “Happy birthday papa 😘 we love you ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ always be happy & healthy, Thank you to all of Papa’s fans for putting these lovely posters & photographs of him,” Esha wrote alongside the video.
Esha Deol is currently shooting for her upcoming film Tumko Meri Kasam, also starring Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma and Durgesh Kumar.
