According to the festival’s official website,Tribeca Film Festival 2024 will take place from June 5 to June 16 in New York City. In total, 103 feature films from 114 filmmakers spanning 48 countries will premiere at the festival.

The teaser dropped by the makers of Kill early this month revealed that the film will revolve around two lovers on an overnight train journey. As goons wreak havoc inside the train and begin attacking passengers, Lakshya’s commando fights back to save his beloved and others.

Packed with violence, gore, bloodshed, action and macabre sequences, Kill is written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. It also features Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala in key roles.

Earlier, Kill had premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, which described it as being “inspired by real-life train robberies in India by a class of criminals known as ‘dacoits,’ combining its high-concept premise with familial melodrama that cuts across both sides of the battle lines.”

The festival also noted that Kill’s “gory and claustrophobic confines” are reminiscent of Midnight Madness classics such as Gareth Evans’s The Raid and Kim Hongsun's Project Wolf Hunting.

Kill is slated to release in Indian theatres on July 5.
