Dhanush will once again team up with his Captain Miller director Arun Matheswaran for a new project, the actor’s manager Sreyas announced on Sunday.
“Elated to start work on this biggie with @dhanushkraja sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻 and the visionary @ArunMatheswaran @wunderbarfilms,” wrote Sreyas, also CEO of Dhanush’s production house Wunderbar Films, on X (previously Twitter).
Wunderbar Studios has been on a four-year hiatus since the release of its 2018 film Maari 2. It has produced films such as Velaiilla Pattadhari (2014), Naanum Rowdydhan (2015) and Vada Chennai (2018) prior to its break.
Apart from this new project, the 40-year-old actor is also set to appear in a film by Sekhar Kammula alongside Rashmika Mandanna, his second directorial tentatively titled D50 and Anand L Rai's production Tere Ishk Mein.
Captain Miller, an action adventure featuring Dhanush, is currently in its final stages of production. Also starring Shivarajkumar, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Nivedhithaa Sathish and Sundeep Kishan, the film is slated to release on December 15.
