Jr NTR looks intense as he sails on a boat in stormy weather in a new poster of Koratala Siva’s upcoming film Devara, dropped by the RRR actor on Monday.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, the 40-year-old actor wrote, “Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Can’t wait for you all to experience the glimpse of #Devara on Jan 8th.”
The official trailer of the film will be released on January 8.
Donning a half-sleeve shirt, Jr NTR flaunts his muscles even as a storm rocks his boat violently in the poster. The tone of the poster is grim and blue-hued, hinting at a dark theme.
Jawan music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who has worked with the soundtrack in Devara, also shared the poster and wrote, “Celebrating the #YearOfFEAR with a bang! 💥Wishing you all an electrifying #Devara Year! ❤️A fully loaded wave will hit you on January 8th with a solid #DevaraGlimpse 🌊.”
Alongside Jr NTR, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Meka Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain and Murali Sharma. Saif Ali Khan plays the main antagonist in the film, which marks Janhvi’s Telugu debut.
Director Koratala recently revealed in a video on X that Devara will be released in two parts in order to explore the story with more “depth and detail”.
Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the first part of the film series will be released on April 5 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
