An exciting lineup of fresh anime shows and highly-anticipated sequels are set to stream on Netflix and Crunchyroll this May. These shows are of different genres ranging from science fiction to martial arts and romantic fantasy. Take a look.

Adapted from Doraemon writer Fujiko F. Fujio’s manga, T・P BON follows an ordinary student, Bon, who encounters Time Patrol members Ream and Buyoyon. The duo have a special power — they can bring people back to life without changing the timeline. Even though people coming across them get their memories erased, Bon retains his memory and becomes their trainee. Though Bon's enthusiasm sometimes leads him astray, he positively impacts individuals across different time periods.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 4- Hashira Training Arc

After an emotionally-charged third season covering the Swordsmith Village arc, Demon Slayer will be back this month with a fresh instalment in which Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu join the elite group of demon slayers — known as Hashira — to combat the demon king Muzan. With Muzan still at large, Tanjiro and his allies must hone their battle skills and challenge the demon king to restore peace to the world. With most of the upper-class demons defeated, the fourth season anticipates an epic showdown between Tanjiro and Muzan which will decide the fate of humanity.

Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf

As fans await the drop of the epic crossover between Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura on Netflix in June, this new martial art show exploring the world of underground fights is set to premiere this month. Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf will follow martial art expert Juzo Fujimaki who is on the run with a large bounty on his head. After he is blackmailed into participating in an underground fighting tournament, Juzo must fight his opponents while dealing with his burdensome past and escaping the police.

My Hero Academia Season 7

Following the mass destruction caused by the battle between the heroes of U.A. High School and the Paranormal Liberation Front in the last season, My Hero Academia’s new instalment will show North America’s top hero named Star and Stripe aiding Deku in his fight against All For One. But before the situation starts to cool down, Deku discovers that someone in his team is leaking information to his greatest enemy.

My Oni Girl

Directed by Studio Ghibli member Tomotaka Shibayama, this teen fantasy film tells the story of high school student Hiiragi Yatsuse, who struggles to make friends despite his people-pleasing nature. Things soon take a turn when he meets Tsumugi, an oni (demon) girl who takes him along on a quest to search for her mother in the human world.
