The poster of veteran actress Deepti Naval’s upcoming film Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms was dropped by the makers on Wednesday.
Directed by Srinivas Abrol, the film is co-produced by Whispers from Eternity Films and the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) in association with Swiss Tourism.
“Whispers from Eternity Films proudly presents the legendary Deepti Naval in “Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms,” directed by Srinivas Abrol and co-produced by NFDC in association with Swiss Tourism,” the caption on Instagram read.
The poster shows Deepti Naval’s character lost in thoughts as she looks out of a window. It was accompanied by two more photos in which Naval shares screen space with her co-stars Jitesh Thakur and Alankrita Bora, respectively.
Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms is described by the makers as a love story that “explores a divine romance that transcends realms and comes without attachment”.
Deepti Naval was last seen in Pushan Kripalani’s Goldfish (2023) alongside Kalki Koechlin, Rajit Kapoor and Gordon Warnecke. She played the role of a woman suffering from dementia in the film.
Alankrita Bora, a model and a professional dancer, made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Raja Abroadiya helmed by Lakhwinder Shabla. She also featured in Vijay Pal's Nanhi Si Kali: Betiyaan. Jitesh Thakur, also a model, directed and acted in the 2022 short The Divine Romance, which also featured Bora.
