Actress Deepika Padukone on Wednesday shared a throwback picture with Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan from the set of Piku to mark nine years of the Shoojit Sircar-directed film.
The photo shows the trio sharing a moment of joy over a plate of fruits during the shoot of the slice-of-life drama.
“He loves telling everyone how much I eat! @amitabhbachchan #Piku #Bashkor #Rana #ShoojitSirkar,” the 38-year-old actress wrote alongside the picture on Instagram.
Deepika portrayed the role of an ambitious woman, Piku Banerjee, in the 2015 movie, while Amitabh Bachchan played her eccentric father. Remembering the late Irrfan Khan, who played Piku’s friend in the movie, Deepika wrote, “@irrfan Oh how much we miss you….”
Deepika, who is currently expecting her first child with Ranveer Singh, will be next seen in Nag Ashwin’s upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan. She will also appear in Singham Again, the fifth instalment of Rohit Shetty's cop Universe franchise starring Ajav Devgn in the titular role.
