Mum-to-be Deepika Padukone shared her ‘simple yet consistent’ skincare regimen with fans on Thursday to mark Self-Care Month, a WHO initiative observed from June 24 to July 24 every year to celebrate self-care.
“Now, when it comes to skincare, of course eating right, sleeping well, adequate hydration and movement are the key pillars of maintaining healthy skin, but a simple yet consistent skincare routine is what has truly worked for me,” wrote the Fighter actress on social media, emphasising the fundamental aspects of skincare.
Deepika credited her glowing skin to her three-step skincare routine. “It consists of 3 simple steps: Cleanse, Hydrate and Protect,” read her note on Instagram.
The actress went on to list the products that she uses daily, adding, “Then, there is that one day in the week where I like to Indulge and do just a little bit more - a full body massage, a face mask, a hair mask.”
To make self-care more engaging, Deepika encouraged her followers to share their skincare routines with her brand 82°E for a chance to be featured.
“I’m not a picture/ selfie person so kindly appreciate the fact that I’m sharing soo many with you’ll! I’m even wondering when and why I took these,” the Kalki 2898 AD actress added.
Deepika tied the knot with actor Ranveer Singh on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy. The couple announced their pregnancy in March this year, shortly after Deepika attended BAFTA 2024 as a presenter. They shared an image of baby clothing and balloons on Instagram with ‘September 2024’ written across it, suggesting that they are expecting their first child in September.
On the work front, Deepika is set to star in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.
