Actress Deepika Padukone has shared behind-the-scenes moments of her preparing for her speech before announcing a performance on the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu at the 95th Academy Awards, held in Los Angeles on March 13.
The photos show Deepika deep in concentration as she gets ready to go on stage and introduce the performers ahead of their electrifying performance on the RRR song. "And the rest is history," she wrote alongside the photos.
The Pathaan star wore a stunning black Louis Vuitton gown for the award ceremony.
The 37-year-old was the third Indian to present at the Oscars. Model-actress Persis Khambatta was the first Indian to become a presenter for the award ceremony in 1980. She presented the award for Best Feature-Length Documentary Film. Later in 2016, Priyanka Chopra became a presenter and announced the nominees for Achievement in Film Editing.
Deepika will be seen next in Atlee’s Jawan opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The actress also has Siddharth Anand's Fighter and Nag Ashwin’s Project K in the pipeline.
