Ready to dominate in style? Then get ready to #SlayTheGame,” the 38-year-old actress wrote alongside a video of her introducing her in-game character featuring two distinct avatars. The collaboration between Deepika and BGMI went live on October 17.

Deepika, who was appointed as the brand ambassador of BGMI last month, will be making her debut in the game with two skins — DP Ice Queen Guardian Set and DP Techno Fairy Punk Set.

Deepika-themed cosmetics — DP Glamour Gladiator Set, DP Starlight Ride (Buggy Skin), DP Firestorm Havoc (Gun Skin), DP Drift Parachute and DP Quantum Quake (Upgradable Gun) — have also been added to the game.

BGMI will feature an in-game event featuring Deepika’s character from October 17 to November 4. Players can participate in exclusive missions to collect “Chakris”, which can be exchanged for rewards such as the Nightingale Dancer Set with 3,000 Chakris.

An upcoming contest will allow players to win additional rewards by creating short BGMI gameplay videos with specific hashtags. To enter, participants need to submit their entries through a Google form.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone into the world of BGMI,” said Seedhart Merrotra, the head of business development at Krafton India, in a statement. “This collaboration marks a significant step in Krafton India’s commitment to introducing newer in-game experiences in a way that deeply resonates with our players. Deepika’s unparalleled style and presence will not only elevate the gameplay experience but also set a new benchmark for immersive content in India's gaming landscape,” he added.

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), previously known as PUBG Mobile India, is a localised version of the global hit PUBG Mobile, developed by Krafton specifically for the Indian audience. As an online multiplayer battle royale game, BGMI offers players the same thrilling experience of strategic combat and survival, where they compete to be the last person or team standing.
