Marvel Studios on Tuesday dropped a new action-packed trailer of its upcoming film Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, which will kick off the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The two-minute-18-second-long trailer focuses on the conflict between Scott Lang and supervillain Kang the Conqueror. It also introduces Scott’s daughter called Cassie. Kang appears to be preying on the fact that Scott missed out on significant parts of Cassie’s growing up due to being in jail and stuck in the quantum realm during the ‘blip’ caused by Thanos’s snap.

Helmed by Ant-Man director Peyton Reed and written by Jeff Loveness, it stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne (Wasp) alongside Jonathan Majors as Kang, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
Jonathan Majors made his debut as Kang the Conqueror in Loki Season One. Kang is the baddy in MCU’s upcoming phases. He is the most powerful supervillain in the MCU, according to Marvel Comics.
Earlier on December 9, Marvel Studios also shared a new poster of the film to announce its release date. The studio captioned it, “Marvel Studios’ #AntManAndTheWasp: Quantumania, only in theaters February 17.”
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will hit the cinemas on February 17.
