Wolverine’s archrival Sabretooth, played by Tyler Mane, makes a return to the MCU after almost 20 years with the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine, reveals a new teaser dropped by the makers.

Mane’s Sabretooth aka Victor Creed was the main antagonist in the 2000 film X-Men. The actor did not reprise his role in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The one-minute-long teaser begins by showing scenes from the trailer dropped by the makers in April. It shows Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool trying to convince Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to help him combat his enemy in order to save his loved ones. Towards the end of the video, we see Wolverine confronting Tyler Mane’s Sabretooth, hinting at a climactic battle between the two. As Wolverine gears up for the fight in a wasteland, Deadpool tries to pump his adrenaline, which leaves him annoyed.

The teaser is filled with rib-tickling humour and high-octane action sequences. Dogpool, a member of the Deadpool Corps, also features in the video.

The trailer dropped by the makers in April revealed that Deadpool and Wolverine will team up against Charles Xavier’s evil twin Cassandra Nova in the upcoming film.

“Found the guy who killed Bambi’s mom,” Reynolds wrote in the description of the trailer shared on YouTube.

Deadpool & Wolverine also stars Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams and Karan Soni. The film is written by Reynolds in collaboration with Levy, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Zeb Wells.

Reynolds shared a fresh poster of the film on May 20. In the poster, the two mutants can be seen coming face to face with each other, with Deadpool wielding his gun and Wolverine stretching out his claws.

Deadpool & Wolverine is slated to hit theatres worldwide on July 26.
