Tickets for Deadpool & Wolverine — starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman — are now on sale. To mark the occasion, Marvel Studios has released a new promotional video and poster, celebrating the upcoming multiversal adventure which reunites Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson/Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Logan Howlett/Wolverine on screen.

The one-minute teaser kicks off with a slow-motion shot of Deadpool and Wolverine walking past wrecked storefronts to the tune of Madonna’s Like A Prayer. From there, the chaos escalates — Deadpool mentions he’s ‘soaking wet’; Wolverine hurls him through a car roof. Plus, in a humorous twist, Deadpool’s knife ends up in Wolverine’s rear.

The trailer is also packed with MCU Easter eggs, including Ant-Man’s helmet and a Doctor Strange-style interdimensional portal.

The latest trailer includes a surprising Easter egg: a QR code. When scanned, it leads to a fun video of Reynolds delivering a ‘disclaimer’ about the film.

In the video, Reynolds sets the tone for the film, saying, “We’re very excited to be joining you July 26. Many of you are very excited. But we should set the table correctly. This film is as paper thin as a sequel to Battlefield Earth. We’re mostly going to beat each other senseless, make enemies with Disney, tell a few dick jokes, make a few jokes at my expense, make a lot of jokes at Hugh’s expense, and completely sidestep Marvel’s mandated after-credits sequence, which if you haven’t figured it out yet, is always just a commercial for another movie which will invariably end with a commercial for another movie.”

“So sit back, relax, let us lower your IQ and raise your heart rate while we travel to a vapid Dreamland, a place where grown men and grown women walk around in tights, and act like it’s not a giant cultural cry for help. This is CINEMA,” signs off Reynolds.

Deadpool & Wolverine also stars Matthew Macfadyen as Paradox and Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, alongside returning Deadpool cast members Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Rob Delaney as Peter, and Lewis Tan as Shatterstar.

Set to hit theatres on July 26, Deadpool & Wolverine is produced by Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner.
