Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson aka Deadpool urges Hugh Jackman’s Logan to get back to being the ferocious clawed mutant and fight alongside him in the new teaser of Deadpool and Wolverine, dropped by Reynolds on Monday, a day before the official trailer release.

The 41-second-long teaser begins with a shot of a music box featuring a Logan action figure impaled through the heart as someone sits beside it and turns it on. Reynolds’ voiceover is heard in the next scene which shows Deadpool walking through a snow-covered place. He teases that he is going to urge Logan to embrace himself as Wolverine once again, making him agree to go on an MCU ride when the time comes. Glimpses of Jackman’s Logan wounded and battling death appear on the screen.

“Look, eventually, you're going to hang up the claws and it's going to make a lot of people very sad,” Deadpool says in the teaser. “But one day, your old pal Wade's gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again, and when he does, say yes,” he adds while the teaser shows glimpses of scenes from previously released films featuring Jackman as Wolverine.

At the end of the teaser, we see Deadpool lying motionless on the ground while Wolverine approaches him in his yellow suit. “I've always wanted to ride with you, Log. Deadpool... and Wolverine,” Reynolds says at the end.

The video gives a frontal view of Wolverine’s new look as opposed to the first teaser which only showed him in two scenes — one from behind and the other as a shadow.

Fans flooded the comments section expressing their excitement for the trailer slated to drop on Tuesday. “It's pretty crazy how Ryan Reynolds always understands the assignment. The sheer consistency,” one of them wrote.

Reynolds also shared a new poster which looks like a nod to the poster of the 2017 film Logan. The original poster featured Wolverine’s daughter Laura Kinney aka X-23 holding his hand while his claws are outstretched. In the new poster, Deadpool pokes fun at Wolverine by touching the latter’s claws with his finger.

The first teaser dropped by the makers two months back showed Deadpool making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Breaking into the MCU where the Marvel superheroes team needs him, Deadpool promised to change it forever.

Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool & Wolverine is slated to hit theatres worldwide on July 26.
