Dafne Keen will reprise her role as X-23, Wolverine’s surrogate daughter from the 2017 film Logan, in Deadpool & Wolverine, shows the latest trailer of the upcoming MCU film.
The final trailer offers a glimpse glimpse of the action to come. Set to hit theatres on July 26, Deadpool & Wolverine features Deadpool seeking Wolverine’s help to save his world.
The trailer showcases several cameo appearances, including characters like Ladypool and Dogpool, with Keen’s X-23 making a brief but impactful return. In a notable scene, Wolverine says, “Whoever you think I am, you got the wrong guy,” to which X-23 replies, “You were always the wrong guy, until you weren’t.”
X-23, also known as Laura, first appeared in Logan, which was believed to be Jackman’s last outing as Wolverine until he joined forces with Deadpool in this new film. As Wolverine’s clone, X-23 possesses similar powers, including retractable claws and the ability to heal quickly.
