Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, Shiksha Mandal and House of the Dragon most-viewed shows in 2022: COTT's Top 10 India list

With three shows in the top 10, MX player shows dominate the list

Disney+ Hotstar’s Pankaj Tripathi-headlined courtroom-crime drama Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach has topped the list of OTT shows in India in 2022 with 70.36 million views, according to digital content measurement tool Chrome OTT (COTT).

MX Player’s Shiksha Mandal and another Disney+ Hotstar show House of the Dragon have secured the second and the third positions, respectively.

According to COTT, Shiksha Mandal, MX Player's Original crime thriller series starring Gauahar Khan and Gulshan Devaiah, garnered 39.10 million views, while House of the Dragon secured the No.3 spot with 37.71 million views.

Streaming platform MX Player dominates the list with three shows to its name — Shiksha Mandal, Dharavi Bank, and Roohaniyat Season 2.

Suniel Shetty's OTT debut Dharavi Bank secured the fourth spot in the list with 33.04 million views. Roohaniyat Season 2, starring Arjun Bijlani and Kanika Mann, was positioned at No. 9 with 25.95 million views.

Two Netflix shows, one Prime Video series, one SonyLIV show and one ZEE5 show have found their place in the Top 10 list as well.

Huma Qureshi-starrer Maharani Season 2 from SonyLIV has secured the fifth spot with 32.65 million views, while Netflix's Delhi Crime Season 2 has claimed the No. 6 spot with 31.51 million views.

The seventh and eighth spots have been taken by Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and ZEE5's Duranga with 31.20 million and 28.98 million views, respectively. Netflix's Jamtara Season 2 has secured the 10th spot in the list with 25.75 million views.
