Crater
Walt Disney Studios has shared the official trailer of its upcoming coming-of-age science-fiction-adventure film Crater. Helmed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez from a screenplay by John Griffin and a story by Griffin and Rpin Suwannath, it stars Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Mckenna Grace, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, Thomas Boyce, and Scott Mescudi.
The two-minute-10-second-long trailer chronicles the story of a boy, raised in a lunar mining colony, who goes on a journey to explore a mysterious crater with his three best friends and a girl from Earth.
Crater will be streaming on Disney+ from May 12.
Queen Cleopatra
Netflix dropped the official trailer of its upcoming docu-fiction series Queen Cleopatra on Wednesday late evening. Jada Pinkett Smith is the executive producer on the show, which explores the life and works of the queen of Egypt’s Ptolemaic Kingdom.
In the two-minute-four-second-long trailer, we see the rise of Cleopatra as the pharaoh of Egypt. The video also features interviews with scholars as they talk about her life and her romance with Julius Caesar and Marc Antony. The series will feature a black actress as the famous historic figure.
Queen Cleopatra will be streaming on Netflix from May 10.
The Continental: From the World of John Wick
Peacock unveiled the official teaser of its upcoming mini-series The Continental: From the World of John Wick on Wednesday evening. Developed by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward and Shawn Simmons, the show serves as a prequel spin-off in Keanu Reeves’ John Wick film franchise. The series stars Colin Woodell as Winston Scott. Mel Gibson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada and Nhung Kate also star in the show.
The one-minute-14-second-long teaser shows glimpses of the Continental Hotel which is frequented by assassins in New York during the 1970s. We see a young Winston Scott (Colin Woodell) become the owner of the hotel. The video also promises the high-octane action associated with John Wick films.
The Continental: From the World of John Wick will start streaming in September.
U-Turn
ZEE5 on Thursday released the official trailer of its upcoming horror film U-Turn. Directed by Arif Khan, the film stars Alaya F, Priyanshu Painyuli, Rajesh Sharma, Manu Rishi Chadha and Aashim Gulati.
The two-minute-24-second-long trailer shows journalist Radhika Bakshi (Alaya F) investigating unusual accidents on a city flyover. However, she becomes the prime suspect in the mysterious deaths after a body is recovered from the flyover. She is now forced to prove her innocence and find the real culprit. There is also a supernatural angle to the story.
U-Turn premieres on ZEE5 on April 28.
