Star power, hot new dance moves and cool footwork — all of this and more were on display as Subhashree and Ankush shot for a song sequence for a new film directed by Baba Yadav. “It felt great... I was really waiting for it... I shot for such an elaborate dance number maybe after the film Honeymoon. I love dancing, I really enjoyed it, the song is so catchy... it was the perfect combination,” said Subhashree. The film is a horror thriller, where the character played by Ankush starts seeing only ghosts after he meets with an accident. Subhashree’s character becomes a part of the journey. “This is a very special dance number. The combination is fabulous, with Baba choreographing and Jeet Ganguly’s music. Subhashree and I share a great bond, which reflects in our work. We are friends. She is a fabulous dancer... she is so confident, positive, dedicated, very focused; she loves her work,” said Ankush. “The song has a story and an element of fun to it. Ankush and I share a Burdwan connect... he has a sense of innocence and is always full of energy, he is an amazing actor,” said Subhashree.
