The Price of Glee

A new three-part limited series, The Price of Glee, will be streaming on Discovery+ from January 16, 2023. “In May 2009, 10 young actors made their TV debut on Glee. By 2020, all of them would be famous. And three of them would be dead,” the trailer of the documentary said.

The series takes a hard look at the intense pressure that results from being catapulted into superstardom and also sheds new light on the terrible tragedies that befell the cast and crew of Glee, according to a statement released by the makers.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2

Omega, Hunter, Wrecker, Echo and Tech are back with Season 2 of the highly-acclaimed animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which will premiere on January 4, 2023.

The story picks up from the thrilling events on Kamino that brought Season 1 to a close. The squad — also known as Clone Force 99 — continues to navigate the Empire in this season following the fall of the Republic. With old friends and new, and a series of adventurous missions, the show is expected to keep the fans hooked.

CONNECT

An edge-of-the-seat thriller with Nayanthara in the lead, Ashwin Saravanan’s CONNECT is bound to give the audience some spine-chilling scares. Anupam Kher also features in the movie.

The trailer starts ‘24 hours before national lockdown’ and shows visuals of a happy family. Everything soon turns spooky as Nayanthara’s daughter gets possessed by a ghost. Characters seem to be hearing a strange noise from uncanny sources. As you try to connect the dots, an exorcism sequence will blow your mind. With dark visuals and eerie sounds, the trailer promises a spooky experience.

A film without an interval, CONNECT is up for release on December 22.

Infinity Pool

Written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, Infinity Pool is a science fiction film scheduled for release on January 27, 2023.

James (Alexander Skarsgård) and Em (Cleopatra Coleman) are enjoying a perfect vacation at an isolated island resort with exceptional staff. The couple are soaking up the sun at pristine beaches when they are guided by a mysterious person Gabi (Mia Goth) to venture outside the resort grounds. James and Em “find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and untold horror. A tragic accident leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime.

MADOFF: The Monster of Wall Street

With an innovative visual approach, Netflix’s Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street is a four part edge-of-your-seat financial thriller series. It reveals the truth behind Bernie Madoff’s infamous multibillion-dollar global Ponzi scheme and the ways in which a willfully blind financial system allowed it to flourish for decades.

Directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Joe Berlinger, the docu-series will closely examine the wrongdoings of Bernie Madoff, whose infamous Ponzi scheme ruined the lives of countless investors.

The Fabelmans - Home Featurette

Directed by Steven Spielberg, The Fabelmans is a coming-of-age drama starring Gabriel LaBelle as 16-year-old aspiring filmmaker Sammy Fabelman. Sammy falls in love with the language of cinema after watching The Greatest Show on Earth. He starts making his own films at home with his own camera, with much-needed support from his mother.

In this home featurette, Spielberg narrates his own experience of shooting the film. The Oscar-winning filmmaker shares that memories of his childhood were rekindled the first day he walked into the set. “This movie for me was like a time machine,” he says.
