British rock band Coldplay is set to perform in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 next year, they announced in a statement on Wednesday. This will be the band’s fourth concert in India as part of their ongoing Music of the Spheres World Tour.

“2025 Ahmedabad date announced. The band will play their biggest ever show, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 January, 2025. Tickets on sale Saturday, 16 November at 12pm IST. Delivered by DHL,” reads the caption to their post on X.

Coldplay shared a poster for their upcoming show, which also builds anticipation about a mystery guest, whose name is yet to be revealed.

Touted as “their biggest ever show ever”, this upcoming concert is part of Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres World Tour. BookMyShow also confirmed ticket availability, stating they will go live on November 16 at 12 pm.

“Coldplay is bringing the #MOTSWT to Ahmedabad! Tickets go live on 16th November at 12 PM IST,” they posted, along with a step-by-step guide to help fans prepare for booking.

The Music of the Spheres World Tour is Coldplay’s eighth concert tour. It seeks to promote their ninth and tenth studio albums, Music of the Spheres (2021) and Moon Music (2024), respectively. The tour began at the National Stadium of Costa Rica on March 18, 2022, and is scheduled to conclude at London's Wembley Stadium on September 8 next year.

Coldplay is set to return to India in 2025 for the first time since 2016. The other three shows are scheduled to take place at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19 and 21 next year.
