The first song from Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, has dropped and it looks all set to climb the charts. The peppy track Current Laga Re stars Deepika Padukole alongside Ranveer Singh and social media is already abuzz about their scintillating chemistry.

Current Laga Re opens with Deepika, who appears in a cameo in the film, ruling the dance floor and is later joined by Ranveer.

Sung by Nakash Aziz, Dhvani Bhanushali, Jonita Gandhi and Lijo George, it’s a high-energy number composed by Lijo George and DJ Chetas. The song features a Tamil rap by Vivek Hariharan, with lyrics written by Hari.

For Deepika, the cameo in a Rohit Shetty film comes nine years after her turn as Meenamma opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Shetty’s Chennai Express.

Deepika will soon be seen in Sidharth Anand’s Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan, and the Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie The Intern.
