As spring draws near, petal and floral motifs are back in vogue. Here’s a look at how the season is adding a spring in the step of some Bollywood stunners.
Janhvi Kapoor, who is gearing up for her Telugu film debut with Devara co-starring Jr. NTR in October, channelled the season’s softness in a white sari with red petal prints and a red sleeveless blouse with a back bow.
Sam Bahadur actress Sanya Malhotra sported a shimmery black pleated sari gown with 3D sequined floral designs in the front. Kohl-lined eyes, a sleek bun and chunky hoops made for a winning look.
Lust Stories 2 star Tamannaah Bhatia also rocked a monochrome ensemble, pairing a white-and-black sari with a backless beaded blouse, embellished with 3D floral motifs. Smoky eyes, a tight bun and minimal accessories balanced the look.
White was Taapsee Pannu’s chosen shade too for a promo look for her upcoming release Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The Thappad actress wore a beaded cummerbund and red roses in her hair to complement her red-bordered sari with red rose motifs.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra flaunted her toned body in a white column gown with a thigh-high slit. The standout feature of her outfit were two massive 3D roses adorning her waistline. The Indian Police Force actress wore her hair down, with matching stiletto pumps and dewy makeup.
Mrunal Thakur, the star of Shouryuv’s directorial debut Hi Nanna, tapped into the spirit of spring in a flower-themed anarkali. Her matching dupatta, adorned with tassels and crystals, featured printed petals and butterflies.
Sonam Kapoor gave boss lady vibes in a mint green blazer worn over a white shirt with a blooming white rose stitched to the neckline. Mauve lips and stone-studded ear cuffs enhanced the elegance of her ensemble.
