Chatrapathi
Pen Movies shared the official trailer of the upcoming Hindi-language film Chatrapathi. Directed V.V. Vinayak, the movie stars Sai Srinivas Bellamkonda, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Bhagyashree, Sharad Kelkar and Karan Singh Chhabra.
The one-minute-58-second-long trailer introduces us to the rowdy hero known as Chatrapathi (Sai Srinivas Bellamkonda). The bulked-up hero is seen beating up goons, lifting them over his head and throwing them into the ocean. He is looking for his mother and brother who moved to India from Pakistan in 1985.
Chatrapathi will arrive in cinemas on May 12.
Gran Turismo
Sony Pictures Entertainment unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming American biographical coming-of-age sports drama film Gran Turismo. Directed by Neill Blomkamp from a screenplay by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin, it stars David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner and Djimon Hounsou.
In the two-minute-32-second-long trailer, we see a young boy who aspires to be a racecar driver and spends his days playing racing video games. One day he participates in a gaming competition and must prove his mettle in the dangerous world of professional race racing.
Gran Turismo will arrive in theatres in August.
Maaveeran
Sun TV on Wednesday dropped the official title teaser of its upcoming Tamil-telugu bilingual action film Maaveeran. Directed by Madonne Ashwin, the film stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role.
The two-minute-38-second-long teaser shows goons beating up an individual at night. Soon some sting gets attached to the beaten person and two fingers come from out of his body and start beating those goons. It is then revealed that the individual is played by Sivakarthikeyan.
Homestay Murders
Hoichoi on Tuesday dropped the official trailer of its upcoming murder mystery series Homestay Murders. Directed by Sayantan Ghoshal, the series stars Saurav Das, Arjun Chakrabarty, Sohini Sarkar, Parno Mittrah, Debchandrima Singha Roy, Sabuj Bardhan, Aparajita Ghosh and Judhajit Sarkar.
The two-minute-35-second-long trailer shows some tourists staying at a cosy homestay in the misty mountains. However, a murder sends them in a spiral of survival. They will now have to find out the killer or they will all get killed.
Homestay Murders will premiere on Hoichoi on May 12.
