Kartik Aaryan dances his heart out with other cadets on a moving train in the music video of the foot-tapping number Satyanaas from his upcoming film Chandu Champion, dropped by the makers on Friday.

The two-minute-49-second-long music video begins with a man selling tea to Kartik and his fellow cadets inside the train while the beats of the song play in the background. Kartik, sporting a grey t-shirt and beige shorts, dances energetically with others to the beats of the song, which celebrates love and heartbreak.

The subsequent scenes show him enjoying himself with his squad while on their way to their destination. Narrating his story through the lyrics about the time he fell in love with his neighbour, Kartik further explains how his heart was broken after the girl fell for some other man. His friends from the regiment try to cheer him up by shaking a leg with him.

At the end of the video, we can see everyone dancing atop the roof of the moving train as it crosses a bridge.

Satyanaas, sung by Arijit Singh, Nakash Aziz and Dev Negi, and composed by Pritam, gives similar vibes like Arijit’s 2017 song Galti Se Mistake from Jagga Jasoos and Javed Bashir’s 2014 song Maston Ka Jhund from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

The song is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the additional vocals are sung by Dev Arijit.

In Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan will take us through the real-life story of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, who joined the Indian army to hone his skills in a bid to represent India at the Olympics. Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the sports biopic is slated to hit theatres on June 14.

On the work front, Kartik was last seen in Sameer Vidwans’s romantic drama film Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. He is also set to star in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan.
