“If I can’t run, I’ll walk, if I can’t walk, I’ll crawl… I won’t stop,” Canadian singer-songwriter Céline Dion says in the trailer of a Prime Video documentary based on her life, showing defiance in the face of losing control over her muscles due to an autoimmune disorder.

Dropped by the streamer on Thursday, the two-minute-18-second trailer of I Am: Celine Dion stitches together archival footage and behind-the-scenes videos from the career of the singer, who was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome during the pandemic. It begins with a shot of Dion hitting a high note during a recording session before going on to show the aftermath of her being diagnosed with the rare autoimmune neurological disorder.

“It’s not hard to do a show, you know. It’s hard to cancel a show,” Dion says with a faltering voice in the trailer, which shows her receiving treatment at a hospital where she had to undergo treatment. At the end of the trailer, the singer bursts into tears while admitting how much she misses the people she used to work with. Even after struggling with her condition, she tries to record songs in the studio, heralding the indomitable power of the human spirit.

“She’s ready now. I Am: Celine Dion, a new documentary, premieres on Prime Video June 25,” Prime Video wrote on Instagram alongside the trailer.

Helmed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, I Am: Celine Dion is slated to premiere on Prime Video on June 25.
