College student Margot’s (Emilia Jones) romantic escapade with Nicholas Braun’s older, cat-loving guy takes a creepy turn following their not-so-eventful one-night stand in the trailer of psychological thriller Cat Lover, which offers a mix of dark comedy, romance and suspense.

Dropped by Studiocanal on Friday, the two-minute-19-second-long trailer opens with Emilia’s Margot being approached by Braun's Robert at a movie theatre where the former works.

They get together and Margot learns that he’s a cat lover. She also confides to her friend that Robert is not a good lover. Soon enough Margot gets suspicious of who Robert claims to be after not seeing any cats at his place. The seemingly nice guy Robert becomes a creepy stalker after Margot dumps him and thus begins a wild thriller.
