Expendables 4
The official red band trailer of the fourth instalment of Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables 4 was released by Lionsgate Movies on Wednesday evening. Directed by Scott Waugh, it also features 50 Cent, Dolph Lundgren, Tony Jaa, Randy Couture, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran and Andy Garcia.
The one-minute-50-second-long trailer shows inner tension and banter between the teammates as they prepare for their deadliest mission to date with an Indonesian terrorist. Indonesian actor Iko Uwais is playing the antagonist in the film.
Expendables 4 will arrive in theatres on September 22.
Flora and Son
Apple TV dropped the official trailer of its musical comedy-drama film Flora and Son. Written and directed by John Carney, the film features original songs by Carney and Gary Clark. It stars Eve Hewson, Jack Reynor, Orén Kinlan and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The two-minute-31-second-long trailer explores the bond between a mother and son on a journey toward a new harmony. Single mom Flora (Eve Hewson) and her rebellious teenage son, Max (Orén Kinlan), who trains with a beat-up acoustic guitar. With the help of a washed-up LA musician (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) they embark on a new journey.
Flora and Son premieres in select theatres on September 22 and will be streaming on Apple TV+ from September 29.
Wilderness
Prime Video unveiled the official teaser of its romantic thriller film Wilderness. Directed by Young Kim, it stars Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen in lead roles alongside Ashley Benson and Eric Balfour.
The one-minute-27-second-long teaser shows the troubled relationship between a couple. The woman feels she has been cheated on and then goes on a vengeful mission.
Wilderness will be streaming on Prime Video from September 15.
The Marsh King’s Daughter
The trailer for the psychological thriller film The Marsh King’s Daughter was shared by Lionsgate Movies on Wednesday. Directed by Neil Burger, the film stars Daisy Ridley, Ben Mendelsohn, Garrett Hedlund, Caren Pistorius, Brooklynn Prince and Gil Birmingham.
In the two-minute-24-second-long trailer, we see a woman tell her story about her life when she was young. She reveals that her mother was abducted by her father. The woman is forced to confront her past after her father escapes from prison.
The Marsh King’s Daughter will arrive in theatres on October 6.
