BTS member RM dropped a music video, featuring Little Simz, for the single Domodachi from his latest album Right Place, Wrong Person on Thursday.
It is the fourth single from the K-pop star’s latest album to get a music video after Come Back To Me, LOST! and Groin. The video is currently trending at No. 19 on YouTube.
In the track, RM and Simz rap over a fusion of hip-hop beats and jazz instrumentals with the music's tempo aligning with the video’s dynamic intensity. “No more goofin’ around, I want cool s**t, I’ma stay calm when they come up with a new s**t,” raps the South Korean artiste, who does not appear in the music video.
Helmed by Pennacky, the three-minute-34-second video centres around a young boy who embarks on a journey around the city during the twilight on his bicycle. The narrative turns chaotic when the boy gets himself trapped in a violent riot and gets stuck in a subway filled with depressed commuters. He, however, manages to escape from the chaos with the help of a friend.
RM’s new album Right Place, Wrong Person released on May 24 and has garnered popularity worldwide.
All the BTS members — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, are currently serving in the South Korean military.
