Korean band BTS has dropped a trailer of rapper Min Yoongi a.k.a Suga’s upcoming concert film SUGA│Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY' THE MOVIE, based on his last concert D-Day.
The film will be screened theatrically worldwide on April 10 and 13, according to a post from BTS on X (formerly Twitter).
The trailer, shared by BTS’ official X handle on Tuesday, features a captivating montage highlighting thrilling moments from Suga's concert series that commenced on April 26, 2023 in New York and concluded on August 6, 2023 in Seoul.
“My concert is not kind. When I go on stage, I think myself that I have to kill it,” Suga says in his monologue right before the concert footage appears on the screen. The video also shows the rapper interacting with his fans and performing all over the world.
In 2023, Suga embarked on a tour across the United States and Asia, showcasing some of his well-known compositions such as Haegeum, SDL, Snooze, and People. Artists including Max and Halsey accompanied the Daechwita rapper on his tour.
Other BTS members — RM, Jungkook and Jimin — joined Suga on separate nights during his stops in South Korea. The trailer of the concert film promises to offer much more than performance cuts. It has celebrated the support of ARMY (the BTS fanbase) which played an important role in Suga’s success as a rapper.
On September 22, 2023, Suga commenced his mandatory military service. The rapper is expected to complete his service and return on June 21, 2025.
