The song is part of the K-pop rapper’s new album Right Place, Wrong Person.

Directed by Pennacky, RM returns with his classic style of rap music through Groin. “Now that life is a bit easier, they shove responsibilities onto me, What do I represent, I only represent myself, before I die from anger, let's say what I havе to say,” the singer says in the song.

The three-minute-14-second video opens with jittery visuals of a dimly-lit passage accompanied by somber music. The scene then shifts to RM, dressed in a black tracksuit with a laid-back demeanor. The song is a powerful hip-hop track infused with rock elements, featuring a rhythmic and energetic chorus.

In the music video, RM conveys his genuine perspective and emotions through dynamic visuals and raw lyrics. Departing from his insightful songs about feelings and psychology like Come Back To Me and LOST!, Groin aims to vividly portray his unfiltered thoughts and feelings about society or specific groups of individuals.

“I see what I see (Me), I be what I be (Me), I'll set you free, Can't tell me nothing, I'm so far,” the lyrics read.

RM's album Right Place, Wrong Person released on May 24. It features tracks such as Nuts, Damodachi, Out of Love, Heaven, LOST!, and Come Back To Me. RM's previous solo project, Indigo, was released in 2022.

At present, all BTS members — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — are serving in the South Korean military.
