BTS rapper Kim Namjoon a.k.a RM teased his new solo album and assured the K-pop boy band’s reunion after their mandatory military service during a recent Weverse live session with fans.

“I'm planning to release another album but Taehyung's album is being released, so my turn will be far next, not far away but I'm still working,” he said during the session.

The rapper, who debuted as a solo artist in 2022 with his album Indigo featuring Erykah Badu and Anderson Paak, was spotted on Weverse listening to Love Letter, a song dedicated to the group by BTS fans.

“Once we get back together, as a team, we'll work hard together. We talked about this as a team too. At next year's BTS Festa, Jin hyung and Hobi will be out earlier (from military service) than us,” he said.

RM also opened up about the demise of his pet dog Moni, a white American Eskimo dog who died two-three months ago, leaving the rapper and his family devastated.

“Ah Moni! I never shared the news with you guys. Moni, two-three months ago, crossed the rainbow. It wasn't long, the time he was with me but he was a family member.” He added, “I bought this drawing that looks like Moni and hung it up.”

The 28-year-old will soon join the South Korean military, following other BTS members like Jin and J-Hope.
