All seven members of BTS are currently serving in the South Korean military. While RM and V began their mandatory duties on December 11, 2023, Jimin and Jungkook joined the following day. Jin’s enlistment day had started the year before. J-Hope and Suga began serving from April 18 and September 22 in 2022, respectively.
According to a statement from their agency Big Hit Music, all the members of the South Korean boy band are expected to return from the military in 2025.
