Jungkook: I Am Still, the first official documentary on BTS member Jungkook, is set for its OTT release on Disney+ as a three-episode series with an additional 55-minute-long footage on December 3, announced the streamer on Friday.
“Enjoy 55 minutes of additional footage in the expanded 3-episode series!
THE ORIGINAL streams December 3, only on #DisneyPlus. #JUNGKOOK_IAMSTILL,” the streamer wrote alongside a trailer of the docu-series.
Jungkook: I Am Still, which hit Indian theatres on September 21, is a video diary chronicling Jungkook’s preparation for his solo debut. Directed by Junsoo Park, known for his work on many BTS-related films, the documentary begins around the time Jungkook released the single Seven featuring rapper Latto, building up to his first solo album Golden.
Jungkook became the first Asian solo artiste to debut at No. 1 on Billboard with his debut album Golden.
Jungkook is the only K-pop solo artist to have three singles — Seven, 3D feat. Jack Harlow, and Standing Next to You — from his debut album in the top 10 of the Billboard HOT 100. The album also stayed for 24 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200.
The singer is currently serving in the South Korean military along with his bandmates RM, Suga, Jimin, and V. The band was originally set to reunite in 2025, but this may now be delayed, as hinted by HYBE Labels.
