Sparks fly between Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony and his gorgeous wife Kate, played by Simone Ashley, as they continue to show their crackling chemistry post marriage in a new promo video of Bridgerton Season 3, dropped by the makers on Tuesday.
“I should like to use the moment to dance with my beautiful wife,” says Viscount Anthony to his gorgeous wife, who looks quite the belle in a blue-and-golden evening gown. He leads Kate to the dance floor and gently kisses her on the lips.
The promo video also features Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton and Ruby Stokes, who replaces Hannah Dudd as Francesca this season. The other promo videos for the upcoming instalment, dropped by the makers in the past, had revealed that the storyline would revolve around Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton).
The latest promo video also provides a glimpse of Penelope, who moonlights as the notorious gossip writer Lady Whistledown in the series.
The trailer dropped by the makers in December last year had promised the return of many beloved characters including Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel), Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie).
The third instalment of the Regency era drama, based on the eponymous eight-book series by Julia Quinn, will debut on streaming platform Netflix in two instalments — Part 1 on May 16 and Part 2 on June 13.
