Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again witnessed a drop in their daily collections on Tuesday, according to latest trade reports.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 registered a domestic collection of Rs 4.25 crore nett on Tuesday, which took its total earning in India close to Rs 210 crore, according to industry data-tracking platform Sacnilk.
On Monday, Singham Again raked in Rs 4.25 crore nett, followed by Rs 3.75 crore nett on Tuesday. The Rohit Shetty-directed cop drama’s total domestic collection now stands at Rs Rs 214.50 crore nett, keeping the film slightly ahead of Anees Bazmee’s horror comedy.
Released during the extended Diwali weekend, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 concluded its first week with a total of Rs 158.25 crore nett. The second Friday’s collections stood at Rs 9.25 crore nett.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 gained traction on Saturday and Sunday, recording earnings of Rs 15.5 crore nett and Rs 16.5 crore nett, respectively. It remained steady over the weekdays, earning Rs 5 crore nett on Monday and Rs 4.25 crore nett on Tuesday.
Kartik Aaryan reprises his role as Rooh Baba in this third instalment of the horror comedy franchise. Vidya Balan, who played Manjulika in Priyadarshan’s 2008 film, is back. The ensemble cast also includes Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Rajesh Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, Rajpal Yadav and Ashwini Kalsekar.
Singham Again saw a strong opening weekend, which helped it secure its position despite a more gradual decline in daily collections.
Singham began its box office journey with a collection of Rs 43.5 crore nett on Day 1. The cop universe film earned Rs 173 crore nett in the first week, followed by Rs 33.75 crore nett over the second weekend.
Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, a fearless senior police officer who embarks on a cross-border mission to save his wife Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan). The movie also boasts a star-studded ensemble, including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff.
