Bollywood actresses Ananya Panday, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur are in vacation mode this festive season. While Ananya ventured on a jungle safari, Pooja soaked up the beauty of the seaside. Mrunal, on the other hand, enjoyed the tranquillity of a holy place in the lap of the mountains. Here’s a look.
Ananya Panday, who’s recently hit a purple patch with Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), Call Me Bae (2024) and CTRL (2024), took a break from B-Town to explore Tanzania's Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Sans makeup and clad in comfy clothes, the actress took a selfie from a safari vehicle. “Took a walk on the wild side,” she wrote in her caption to the pic, which has an elephant in the background.
On her safari adventure, Ananya encountered an array of wildlife – from herds of elephants and majestic lions and lionesses, to ostriches, monkeys and giraffes. Her child-like excitement is visible in some of the video clips she’s shared.
A clear sky with fluffy clouds, rolling green pastures, distant hills and a lush, dense jungle made for a stunning backdrop as Ananya beamed with joy in one of the photos.
She also gave fans a peek of gorgeous tropical sunsets, streaming brooks as she explored her surroundings armed with a picture guide to local wildlife and a hand-written welcome note signed with a ‘Hakuna Matata’.
As Ananya worships nature, Mrunal Thakur, who recently made a cameo in the Nag Ashwin-directed sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, is enjoying a peaceful retreat at Jageshwar Dham. She is visiting the Hindu pilgrimage town near Almora in Uttarakhand with her younger sister, Lochan.
The Hi Nanna actress strolled through a stream, strewn with balancing stones and flanked by picturesque hills. Colourful cottages and towering conifers also added to the serenity of the ambience.
Mrunal, who will soon be seen in Son of Sardar 2 alongside Ajay Devgn, not only spent her holiday visiting religious sites around the area with her sister, she also indulged in some good old balloon-popping fair fun.
Pooja Hegde, who recently wrapped up shooting for Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor, spent her break relaxing on a sandy shore in an unnamed destination.
The 34-year-old actress, who is expected to reunite with Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay for his 69th film, shared a photo of herself on Instagram standing on a boulder to click a sun-kissed selfie. Her breezy outfit comprised a green t-shirt, black shorts, a grey baseball cap and white sneakers.
In another photo, Pooja walks with her back to the camera as she looks at the waves crashing against the shore. “Taking the pulse of the universe,” she wrote, alongside the pictures.
