Actor Bobby Deol is set to make his debut in one of the film industries down south, the 54-year-old has revealed in an Instagram video that he shared alongside a thank-you note to fans for showering love on his Animal character Abrar Haque.
Talking about his upcoming projects, Bobby said that he is working for a “sweetheart” director in the “south industry” whom he affectionately calls “teddy bear”. He also praised his co-stars in the upcoming film, extending his admiration to the entire cast and crew of the yet-untitled movie.
Bobby will reportedly appear in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film, tentatively titled NBK109.
“Falling short of words to describe this feeling. Grateful to each and everyone of you for showering #TeamAnimal & Abrar with unconditional love,” Bobby wrote, sharing the video on Instagram.
Beginning with a sequence of Bobby’s action scenes from the Ranbir-Kapoor starrer, the montage moves on to the actor elaborating on his outfit styled by his wife Tanya Deol.
“I am dressed in Prada. It’s all Prada from top to bottom. My wife styled me, so, she makes me look good,” said Bobby while talking about his look that comprised a white vest paired with black trousers.
The actor does the signature glass-on-head gesture to answer a question about his favourite track from the film Animal. Bobby’s entry music from the film, Jamal Kudu, keeps playing in the background.
The actor added that his character in Animal would like to spread peace throughout the world if he had a superpower.
Given Abrar is a mute antagonist, Bobby was asked what the character would say if he had one dialogue in Animal.
Alluding to a scene in the movie involving the three consorts of Abrar, Bobby said, “Tu aur tu, idhar aa (The two of you, come here).”
The video concluded with clips from Animal’s success bash in Mumbai on January 6.
