Kingsley Ben-Adir transforms into the iconic Jamaican singer Bob Marley and talks about bringing people together through reggae music in the official teaser trailer of the upcoming biopic Bob Marley - One Love.
Unveiled by Paramount Pictures on Thursday evening, the almost three-minute-long teaser trailer begins with Bob Marley preparing to perform in front of a large crowd. The video also shows him talking about reggae music and how it can inspire people to come together — “Reggae’s people music. People coming together.”
In the trailer, we see Marley’s moments with his family and the assassination attempts on their lives. The singer actively organises peace concerts, trying to bring leaders of the opposite parties together. In the clip, we see Marley saying, “We can’t separate music from the message.” When the interviewer asks him what message? He replies, “Peace.”

Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, Bob Marley - One Love stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley, alongside Lashana Lynch as his wife, Rita Marley. Bob Marley’s son, Ziggy Marley, is producing the film.
Bob Marley - One Love will hit theatres on January 12, 2024.
