K-pop girl group Blackpink members Jisoo, Rosé and Jennie showered love on their fellow band member Lisa on her 27th birthday on Wednesday, sharing pictures with the singer and talking about their time together.

Taking to their Instagram stories, the K-pop singers extended their heartfelt wishes to Lisa, who is lovingly called ‘Maknae Lili (youngest Lili)’ by them.

“Our beloved maknae Lili…I’ve seen you grow since middle school and every year, to see you grow is a new emotion,” Jisoo, who recently released her first solo album ME, wrote alongside a picture with Lisa. “Happy birthday to you. Now I can lean on you in times of trouble as you are an adult. Let’s go eat something delicious again soon. Love you. From Shoongie, who is always by your side,” she added.

Rosé wrote a long and heartwarming message for Lisa, revealing how she can confide in her without a second thought. “When I think of you, when we were 18 the most,” wrote the singer, who treated her fans to her self-composed song Vampirehollie on her birthday last month.

Recalling how they practised Taylor Swift’s song 22 together backstage during the American singer-songwriter’s Singapore leg of The Eras Tour on March 4, Rosé also wrote, “I don't know why I cried either hahaha. We wanted to hurry up and be 22 then... when did we become like this.” Previously, Lisa had shared a set of pictures from the concert held at the Singapore National Stadium. She met with Taylor backstage with her group members after the concert.

“I can rely on you a lot as a friend and I feel like we’ve been through a lot together as well as grew up together. Thank you. It’s been so fun to be able to do it with you. Let’s continue to grow more,” Rosé wrote, before thanking Lisa for being her friend and standing by her through thick and thin.

Rosé also shared a picture with Lisa on her Instagram stories in which the Lalisa singer can be seen sporting a light grey full-sleeved t-shirt and wrapping her arms around Rosé.

Jennie kept her messages short and fun. “I ran into you while eating. Happy birthday Lisa. You will forever be my dancing partner. Have a full and wonderful day,” she wrote in one of the messages.

In yet another message, Jennie shared a picture with her bandmate. “Happy Birthday to la la lisaaaaaaa,” she captioned the photo.

Belonging to the four-part band, Lisa is also the first female solo artist in K-pop history to win the Best K-pop Artist title for her music video Lalisa at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2022.
