Blackpink’s Lisa will release her third single Moonlit Floor on October 3 under her record label LLOUD.
The record label unveiled the official poster for the track on Sunday. The poster shows Lisa lying on a bed, resting her head and arms on a pillow, resting peacefully in a relaxed pose.
“Moonlit Floor October 3rd @ 8pm ET,” the official Instagram handle of LLOUD wrote alongside the poster.
The singer, who received the Video Music Awards (VMA) in the category of Best K-pop this year for her solo Rockstar, performed at the 2024 Global Citizen Festival in New York on September 29 (IST). After kicking off her show with tracks like LALISA and Money, the Blackpink star surprised the audience by performing her upcoming track Moonlit Floor.
Lisa’s Moonlit Floor, a contemporary take on love songs, seemingly draws inspiration from Kiss Me, the 1998 popular track by American alternative rock band Sixpence None The Richer.
After her departure from YG Entertainment along with her other bandmates Jisoo, Jennie and Rose, the singer launched her label company LLOUD in February this year. Following the launch of her company, Lisa released two tracks— Rockstar and New Woman (featuring Rosalia).
Alongside her thriving music career, Lisa is also set to make her acting debut. She will join the cast of HBO’s The White Lotus for its third season. Starring Jennifer Coolidge, Meghann Fahy, Theo James and Sydney Sweeney, the new season of the comedy series is expected to release in the first half of 2025.
All the members of Blackpink — Lisa, Jennie, Rose and Jisoo — last appeared together in the music video of their 2022 single Shut Down, which topped the Billboard Global 200.
