Starring Letitia Wright, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Lupita Nyong'o, Tenoch Huerta, Danai Gurira and Winston Duke, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the sequel to Coogler's 2018 blockbuster Black Panther, which earned around $1.3 billion globally.
The sequel pays homage to Chadwick Boseman who died of cancer in 2020. Boseman had won hearts across the world for his portrayal of King T’Challa in the first instalment of the film.
