Salma Hayek Pinault’s sinister looks, Aaron Paul’s space mission and Anjana Vasan’s killer attitude mark the official trailer for the sixth season of Netflix’s dystopian anthology series Black Mirror.
Dropped by Netflix on Wednesday late evening, the two-minute-31-second long trailer shows us glimpses of five new films and shows their title and cast. In Joan Is Awful, an average woman realises a streaming platform has made a dramatised adaptation of her life — starring none other than Salma Hayek Pinault, while Loch Henry sees a couple travelling to a small Scottish town to begin work on a nature documentary but change their mind about the subject after hearing a local story about some brutal murders.
For Beyond the Sea, Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame is enlisted in a dangerous high-tech mission with another man in space. The story is set in the alternative year of 1969. In Mazey Day, a young star tries to evade the paparazzi following a hit-and-run incident.
In the final episode, which is Demon 79, a meek shopkeeper (Anjana Vasan) is told she must commit atrocities to prevent disaster by a mysterious man. The trailer states that this particular story is presented by something called Red Mirror.

Created and written by Charlie Brooker, the ensemble cast for the sixth season also stars Kate Mara, Michael Cera. Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman.
Black Mirror Season 6 hits Netflix on June 15.
